Pine Tree Youth Organizing (PTYO) is a youth led and run organization that works in alliance with mentors to support youth organizing throughout Maine. PTYO’s goal is to make it easier for young people to get active and get involved by helping each other build the skills, support and energy that we need to make change. We are a coalition of youth from different regions who work on different issues and we come together to support each other’s work. We understand how all of our work is connected and we aim to build a strong, unified youth movement. We offer workshops/trainings, one-on-one mentorship, and logistical support to youth organizers.
