RESTORE: The North Woods is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 by veteran conservationists and grassroots activists. The mission of RESTORE is to restore, preserve, and defend the natural integrity of the North Woods and other important lands in the United States and Canada through education, advocacy, and citizen activism. Our major goals are to restore wilderness, recover endangered wildlife, and protect and expand public lands.
