Winter Cache Project is missioned to model a diversified local food production system using ecologically and socially sustainable methods, to educate the community about methods of food storage and preservation, to assert the importance of growing and eating local, organic foods, to claim independence from industrial agriculture, to provide a model of mutual aid and relationships that does not depend on cash transactions.
